A student while going to school from home observes that if he travels at 30 km/hr then he reaches school 15 min late. Whereas if he travels at 40 km/hr , e reaches school 10 min earlier. Then (i) find the distance between his school and his home. (II) at which velocity should he travel to reach school on time.

Acording to the Question
Let the distance between the school and home be x ,
and time taken to reach home from school or vice versa be t

then

x/30=t+15/60 -----------(1)

x/40=t-15/60 -----------(2)
solving this we will get x=60 km

we can write x/30-x/40=25/60...solving this we will get x=50km and required speed is 35.3km.
